A rare and massive tripodic porcelain koro of globular shape, its body formed as lotus petals, the finial a lotus flower. Cartouches of exotic birds and foliage are bordered by underglaze blue dragons swirling on blue-green enamel grounds. Signatures under lid and on base, Makuzu Kozan. Height, 14.5"; width, 11". Meiji Period.
