A glorious high-shouldered, tapered cloisonné vase with shakudo rim. Executed both in wired and wireless techniques, the vase is designed with two disparate visuals: surrounding the shoulders and dipping downward toward its center, wisteria cascades over water shallows and rocky slabs in softly modulated tones of gray, pale blue, green and white. Encircling the vase, shimmering fish glide above and below the waters. Green-enameled Ando mark at base. Height, 14.5". Meiji Period.
