A Japanese Tripodic Bronze and Multi-Metal Censer - Yoshinori Signature - Meiji Period
A round tripodic bronze and multi-metal censer. Sprawled asymmetrically over its surface, a lichen-covered plum blossom branch rises in high relief detailed extensively with gold, silver and multiple alloys. The burner’s shibuichi lid, reticulated in plum-blossom form, continues the floral imagery. Incised Yoshinori signature on side of vessel. Height, 4"; diameter, 4.25". Meiji Period.
